ABOUT THE COURSE

Kinship Pre-Service Training is to prepare relative or fictive-kin caregivers for relative foster caregiver certification. Attendees will receive 12 hours of training credit upon completing Sessions 1-4 of Kinship Pre-Service Training. Six hours will granted by the Home Development staff after Sessions 1 and 2. The additional six hours will be reflected in the LCWTA eLearning System upon completing Sessions 3 and 4. In efforts to meeting pre-service training requirements when in-person training is not possible this training is being presented via virtual technology.
