ABOUT THE COURSE

The purpose of this course is to provide all stakeholders a review of the essential steps for administering CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) on unresponsive infants, children, and adults using American Heart Association standards. Participants of this course will also review how to provide emergency assistance to choking infants, children, and adults using the Heimlich Maneuver. Developed through a partnership with LCWTA and the North Oaks Health System, this course is designed to support the first aid knowledge and skills of all stakeholders. Note: participants will not receive CPR certification after completing this course.
