Child Welfare staff will learn how the implementation of Qualified Residential Treatment Programs. Participants impacts them and their caseload. Staff will learn who, and how to refer a youth for QRTP care, and they will learn about the essential responsibilities of CW staff who work with youth in QRTPs and the critical timelines that must be met. Staff will also learn about the factors that precipitated the creation of this new opportunity for children and their families, and how QRTPs will function to help achieve permanency for QRTP residents and their families. Staff will also be directed to child welfare policies, forms and key staff that are involved in the QRTP process.
