Fertaeshia Broussard


Child Welfare Consultant

Fertaeshia “FAB” Broussard is a Child Welfare Consultant for the Department of Children and Family Services State Office Training Unit.  Mrs. Broussard joined DCFS in 2010 as a Child Protection Service Worker in Lafayette Parish, then transitioned to Centralized Intake Unit where she also supervised before joining the DCFS State Office Child Welfare Training Unit. Her primary duties currently include co-facilitating  New Child Welfare Worker Orientation. Fertaeshia is a graduate of University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a Bachelor of Science in Child & Family Studies. She also received her Master of Science in Human Services and Resource Management.  FAB has a passion for providing quality family strengthening consultation to support the child welfare field in our service to children and their families.
