Tracy Hoggatt

Child Welfare Consultant

Tracy Hoggatt is a Child Welfare Consultant in the Training Unit for the Department of Children and Family Services.  She received her undergraduate degree in Social Work from the University of Louisiana at Monroe in 1988 and her master’s degree in Social Work from Grambling State University in 2006.  She is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Board Approved Clinical Supervisor.  Tracy has over 30 years of social work experience working in medical social work and child welfare.  As a worker, she worked in the capacities of Child Protective Services and Foster care.   She has also worked as a supervisor and manager in Monroe Region DCFS with the following programs:  Child Protective Services, Family Services, Foster Care, Adoption, Home Development and IV-E.  As a supervisor and manager, she routinely provided presentations to the community related to mandated reporting, child abuse and neglect, and foster parent certification as well as training for staff on topics to enhance worker’s practice.
