This course will introduce you to the Interstate Compact on the Placement of Children (ICPC) and National Electronic Interstate Compact Enterprise (NEICE) Case Management System. During this module, we will cover the basics of NEICE. We will review the ICPC and explain how NEICE can expedite the ICPC case. We will also review the NEICE system with interactive activities. The first training will cover NEICE basics such as how to log in, the NEICE Dashboard, and general navigation. The second training will walk through critical security standards for NEICE, which should be followed in addition to your state or county security training. The last training will show you how to use NEICE to process ICPC cases electronically as a caseworker. At the end of each training, you will complete a form to receive a certificate of completion via email (from NEICE, not LCWTA) and register that you completed the course. Only staff who have completed this training will have access to NEICE.
