DCFS staff and a wide array of interested community stakeholders convene quarterly to discuss varying child welfare issues surrounding abuse and neglect and create actionable steps to address identified concerns. The summits combine previous individual, quarterly, regional meetings into one ?summit?. The previous meetings included CQI, CPOC, CARA and CRP. All meetings involved a presentation of trends, policy and procedures as well rotating child welfare topics.
