The LCWTA provides a comprehensive array of training and professional development opportunities to child welfare staff and stakeholders so that Louisiana's children can experience safety, permanency, and well-being.
We are diligently monitoring updates regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus. Your safety and wellness during our trainings is a priority because you work to keep our state's children safe. After consulting closely with our partners and listening to advice given by local and federal governments and health agencies, we have decided to postpone all in-person training sessions scheduled through March 27th. We will be providing updates for sessions scheduled after March 27th as they become available.
In addition, many of the LCWTA team have opted to practice social distancing by working remotely beginning March 18th. We encourage you to protect yourselves and others by following precautionary measures:
