PROGRAM BENEFITS
Financial Support
Receive a stipend during the final year of your program.​

Stipends start at $6,000 but vary among universities and degree programs.
Field Practicum Opportunities
Placement in a field practicum for either one or two semesters.

Undergraduates complete: 400+ hours.

Graduates: complete 900+ hours.

Eligibility Requirements
To participate in the program, students must:
Complete application
Be enrolled full-time in one of our partner schools' qualifying IV-E programs
Meet the eligibility criteria of their university's Title IV-E program
Pass the interview required during the application process
Commitment Required
Upon graduation, scholars are required to:
Apply to DCFS: Secure a position
Commitment Required: Work at least one year
Stipend Repayment: If unable to commit, repay funds
