
MANDATORY REPORTER ONLINE TRAINING
Due to Senate Bill 41, new requirements for mandatory reporters will take effect on August 1, 2025.
An updated Mandatory Reporter course reflecting these changes will be released on that date.
The current version of the course will remain available through July 31, 2025.
Please consult with your own organization to understand how these new requirements may impact you and any additional training expectations they may have.

Help Protect Louisiana's Children
Every day, the safety and well-being of children throughout Louisiana are at risk due to child abuse and neglect. Mandated reporters are vital in ensuring children's safety.
The online training for Mandated Reporters, offered by the Department of Children and Family Services, is available through the Learning System of the Louisiana Child Welfare Training Academy (LCWTA LMS).

LCWTA LMS accounts are required to complete the training. Mandated reporters who do not have accounts should click the "Create New Account" button below.
Once you have created an account and have logged into the LCWTA LMS, click the "Go to Course" button below to access the course directly.
Please note: The LCWTA LMS administrative team will create accounts for Pre-Service Foster Parents, Certified Foster Parents, and DCFS Staff.
