As a department, we continue our commitment to strengthening partnerships with families and stakeholders though improved and enhanced practice. This training reviews policy and procedural changes that will be effective beginning March 16, 2020. Participants are introduced to manager requirements and Case Review Instruments. During the training, Deputy Assistant Secretary of Child Welfare, Karla Venkataraman, provides a high-level overview of the Family Team Meeting (FTM) and explains how engagement efforts connect with the PIP.
