Tamika Boyer

Tamika is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who resides in Baton Rouge. She earned a Bachelor of Social Work from Southern University at New Orleans and a Master of Social Work degree from Louisiana State University. 


She currently works as a Field Education Coordinator with the LSU School of Social Work where she coordinates internship placements for BSW students and MSW students enrolled in the on-campus and online programs. Additionally, she works as a Liaison in the Title IV-E Program at LSU providing support to students competing internships with the Department of Children and Family Services in Louisiana. 


Tamika has experience as a grant reviewer with the Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund and over fifteen years of social work experience which includes child welfare, crisis intervention, early intervention, behavioral health, counseling, and disaster management.


She is passionate about working with children and families and the support she provides to students at LSU School of Social Work.
