About the Course

Trainings will provide in-depth review and exploration of specific Caretaker Protective Capacities, as defined by DCFS. This training will include presentation and discussion of a specific CPC topic, presentation of case vignettes, and opportunity for questions and DCFS staff observations from the field.


Learning Objectives:

  • DCFS staff will be able to identify and describe the application of CPC guideline reviewed in the training.

  • DCFS staff will be able to identify CPC guidelines through a trauma-informed and clinical lens.

  • DCFS staff will have the opportunity to understand the CPC guideline from multiple perspectives through the review of case vignettes.
