About the Course
In Module 5, course content will focus on the supervisor�s role in using data to guide best practice and holding the unit accountable for performance though the use of respectful accountability. In this course, supervisors should demonstrate an understanding of the importance of a results-oriented culture in child welfare and their role in creating a results-oriented culture. Supervisors will be able to address their worker�s concerns and fears about using data. Supervisors will be able to establish group and individual goals and objectives and hold their unit accountable for performance using respectful accountability. Supervisors will be able to provide clear expectations to staff and develop a plan for addressing performance outcomes. Supervisors will be able to demonstrate their understanding of general HR process and basics of documentation as well as general guidelines of FMLA.
Target Participants: New DCFS-Child Welfare Supervisors.
