About the Course
This two day, in person training will focus on navigating the complex dynamics of child sexual abuse (CSA) allegations in child protective services cases. It will translate research into practice by discussing CSA facts versus assumptions and the key elements of trauma-informed responses. We will address strategies for successfully engaging caregivers to enhance the investigative process and ways of fostering resilience. Above all, this interactive training is an opportunity for child welfare workers to bring their most challenging real-world questions to the table and leave with new tools in their toolbox.
