TIPS Form 211, 212, 213
This session will emphasize how to submit TIPS forms for reimbursement using the DocuSign platform and will give staff members instructions on how to fully fill out and electronically sign papers. The child appropriate truth: Providing narratives to children in foster care
This course is a part of the "Foster Parent Training: An In-Depth Exploration of Advanced Topics. Trainings will provide in-depth discussion of topics relevant for providing developmentally appropriate, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive, care for children involved with the child welfare system. Learning objectives: 1. Participants will be able to understand the importance of providing a developmentally appropriate narrative for children regarding life events or when life changes occur. 2. Participants will be able to identify who should provide the narratives and when they should occur based on the needs of the child. 3. Participants will be able to identify roadblocks to providing narratives as well as to identify how to address these roadblocks.

The purpose of this course is to inform participants of the services available for foster children through the Offices for Citizens with Developmental Disability (OCDD). Topics discussed include an overview of the different types of assistance that can be applied for, eligibility requirements that must be met to apply for services, and how one can request services.
